As a volunteer for Les Grands Ballets you take part in stimulating projects such as The Nutcracker Fund for Children, the annual Benefit Gala, the STUDIOS GB, and The National Centre for Dance Therapy. Volunteering can also involve clerical, technical or administrative support for the company’s special projects.
Les Grands Ballets Canadiens considers itself very fortunate to have over 500 devoted volunteers who give their time so generously. They are a great asset for our organization. Our many activities require a significant number of volunteers throughout the season, and we would not be able to see them through without their invaluable assistance.
Thanks to our many volunteers, our benefit events are great successes and allow us to raise the funds we need to pursue our mission.
We would like to thank our volunteers for their availability, support, generosity and know-how, and for sharing their passion for dance, the arts and their community.

The Friends of Les Grands Ballets have a shared passion for dance. This committee’s sole concern is the welfare of the dancers. The sums raised from funding activities, such as the sale of dance shoes, partially cover the troupe’s physiotherapy services and Pilates program. As a Friend of Les Grands, you are entitled to certain privileges, such as being a volunteer for projects reserved for you. Even better, the Friends of Les Grands get to mingle with the dancers when preparing buffets for dress rehearsals.
